The Bright Ranch offers a unique demonstrative program that provides our
audience an up-close look into the wonderful world of horses. The mission of our
presentation is to educate and entertain the general public as to the historical
relationship between humans and horses and how we as a society can continue to benefit
from the incredible lessons our horses can teach us. Visitors are quickly emerged in the
ranch lifestyle as they are transported
from the parking area to the
grandstands in an old-fashioned hay ride. Our program then
begins with the Pledge of Allegiance honoring our country and its Western heritage. We
follow this with a parade of horses showcasing the different breeds and styles of riding,
all set to western music. Demonstrations include an American flag drill team, western and
english riders. A cattle working demonstration featuring our own Texas Longhorn cattle and the American Quarter
Horse round out the program. Dennis Bright offers an informative dialogue on the new style
of training horses
and his
experience training the Wild Horses of the American West. Visitors will even be able to
visit with wild Mustangs which Dennis has brought back to the ranch to incorporate into
his training program.
The program is available for schools, service clubs, conventions, tour
groups and business organizations. We offer 1, 2 and 3 hour programs with an optional
continental breakfast and/or box lunches. Please call our office or contact us for rates and scheduling information.
